Destinations: Beijing and Xi'an
This is a 4-day tour including top two cities, Beijing and Xian covering main places as the Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven, the Mutianyu Great Wall, the Summer Palace in Beijing, the Terra-cotta Warriors, the City Wall and the Muslim Quarters in Xian.
Guide and driver will pick up at the hotel about 8:30am.
Tian'anmen Square - walk around this world's largest public square with magnificent buildings around it.
Forbidden City - ancient magnificent Imperial Palaces in the Ming & Qing Dynasty (1.5 to 2 hours).
After lunch, drive to the Hutong (old city). Walk around ancient Beijing through narrow lanes and nearby Shichahai Lake.
The Temple of Heaven - the largest and only survived Heaven Worshipping Taoist Temple in Beijing.
The guide and driver will pick you up at the hotel at 8 am.
Mutianyu Great Wall - the section of the Great Wall with best view and least visitors . Take the cable car or chair lift up the wall and spend 1- to 2 hours hiking up and down from one section to another, seeing the Watch Towers and marveling at the construction and beauty of the Great Wall.
Lunch in a local Chinese restaurant or at the subway restaurant down the Mutianyu Wall.
Summer Palace - a summer resort for Imperial Family Members considered the best preserved imperial park.
Your guide and drive will bring you to the Beijing West Train Station to take high-speed train to Xian. The train will start around 8 am and arrive at Xian about 14:00.
The local guide in Xian will meet you and bring you to the City Wall and Muslim Quarters.
City Wall - the most complete city wall that has survived in China, as well being one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world.
Muslim Street - located within the shadow of the Drum Tower, Humin Jie is a 500-meter street lined with restaurants whose proprietors are almost exclusively Chinese Muslims. Transfer back to the airport in Xi'an.
In the end, drive to your hotel.

Generally speaking Mid March—End Oct are the best time to visit Silk Road. And we strongly suggest you come in May, June, October to avoid the heat and crowd. No need to worry about high altitude along the Silk Road. We will prepare Oxygen bags if the package includes Xiahe, Qinghai Lake and Taxkorgan County.
